EVENT DETAILS & INFO

Location: Sintra, Portugal

We will primarily be skating on roads closed to traffic and in public outdoor skateparks. Shuttling to and from all skate spots is included in the rider fee. The area surrounding Lisbon and Sintra not only offers the perfect terrain to skate, but also boasts numerous sights including a UNESCO world heritage national park.

The event is limited to 28 riders.

Date: 05.03. - 12.03.2016

Accommodation:

We’ll be staying at The Lodge, a sustainable and eco-friendly oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon and a mere stone’s throw from the ocean. The place also boasts a small spa area to soothe achy limbs after a long day’s riding: http://thelodgeportugal.com

A variety of other action sports activities, e.g. mountain biking, surfing, climbing or bouldering can be booked directly through The Lodge. Please visit their website for details. We do recommend you take it easy on rest day, however you may wish to extend your stay to benefit from the varied outdoor sports programme Sintra has to offer.

Directions from Lisbon airport:

Take the underground to Oriente (3 stops), then the train towards Sintra. Get off at Porteal de Sintra, where we will pick you up. The journey by underground and train will cost approximately 5 € and takes about 1.5 – 2 hours.

No additional charges will incur for the pick-up from Sintra to The Lodge. You will receive details of pick-up and drop-off times by email once sign-up is full, as times will depend on the travel arrangements of all riders requiring this option.

If you prefer a direct transfer from Lisbon airport to The Lodge or check in earlier/stay later, please contact The Lodge directly:
